Hi, I'm Billy
I'm a father to two beautiful children and a husband to my incredible wife rebecca. I got my start in the world of wedding photography in 2019 and haven't looked back since, shooting dozens of weddings as both a lead and second shooter.

A little more about me as a person:
I was born and raised just outside of Boston in a town called Watertown by a single mother. After graduation I immediately joined the United States Marine Corps and went on to serve a tour in Afghanistan in 2010. In 2014, I started a career in corrections at a county jail, where I worked as a correctional officer for almost 10 years. I've since started working as a public safety dispatcher, and pursuing my passion as a photographer.
As you search for a photographer for your wedding, business media, or other event, I hope that you take a moment to not only look at your photographers work, but who they are. I pride myself on being very detail oriented, personable, and ensuring that everyone is happy. I hired Billy to photograph our elopement that we were secretly doing during the pandemic. Our wedding had been pushed back a second time so I had contacted Billy and he agreed to keep everything private until our big ceremony in another year. I'm not sure how long he's been doing this, but wow our photos are incredible! Billy drove three hours north and showed up two hours early to ensure that he scouted everything for us. He had spots picked out, and we moved quickly through the shoots. I couldn't be happier with the service and the product.

We were getting married in a small ceremony in New Hampshire when we realized how expensive weddings are! We thought we would have to break the bank for great photos but then we found William Bellis Photography. Billy was incredible from the start. After the first meeting we felt a little more at ease that we had a confident and capable photographer. On our wedding night Billy kept things moving along and helped control the flow of the wedding. When we got our photos though, I was so happy! The photos of my father crying during the first look, and the kids during the ceremony were the small details we were so happy to have!
